About Olga
Hello everybody!
We are Olga and Adam, we are 33 years old and come from Poland. We have been living in Gent 3 years now. We love dogs, and we'd gladly take care of your pet and spend some time with him/her. We both have experience with dogs, we grew up with dogs in our childhood. 7 years ago we adopted a dog from a shelter - unfortunately she passed away last year and we miss having contact with animals. Our dog was afraid of many things, and had a problem with social contacts, because of her previous experiences, so we know how to take care of dogs with special needs.
We don't have children nor animals at the moment. We live in a 60m2 flat with a living room, kitchenette, bedroom and balcony, in a building with an elevator. Of course your dog would be allowed to enter all of the rooms and to chill with us on a sofa. However we would prefer to not allow the dog into our bed. :)
Our flat is located next to Leie rivier, so we have a lot of nice and calm walking areas in the neighbourhood: along Leie, in Bijlokesite, in Citadelpark, etc.
Normally we work from Monday to Friday, and we're out of home approximately from 10am to 4pm. Therefore it would be good if your dog is used to staying alone at home for a few hours, in order for him/her to feel comfortable in any case.
If you prefer, we can also walk your dog, or stay with him/her at your place during your absence.

Olga & Adam clearly love dogs and most importantly, they really know how to interact with dogs. From the first introduction, they were so kind with our dog Moos. Olga send us regular updates too. Would recommend dog owners to book with Olga & Adam, especially if you have a rescue or your dog otherwise comes with some ‘instructions’. They’ll know how to make them feel comfortable and at home!
Lexi stayed with Olga and Adam for a last minute overnight stay, communication was great, you could see Lexi felt comfortable right from the meet and greet. Olga kept me updated with photos and videos. Lexi will definitely be back!
