I am a student seeking an extra income as a pet sitter, utilizing genuine love for animals, and concern for their health, happiness, and well being. I am international student pursuing a Master's degree in Biology in UGent. I'm a born nature and animal lover (which is my main inspiration of pursuing Biology in early years). I came across the globe to study and that also means leaving my home and my pets.
Way back home I have managed to take care 6 dogs. I know that's too many to handle, but I wasn't alone raising them, my parents and brothers are also looking after them. Originally, I only had one dog (for my 18th birthday and she gave birth to a healthy puppy that I decided to keep also). The other 4 dogs, they are left abondoned on the river side, five pups just a week old with no mum on sight so I decided to adopt them and give them a home.
When I started my studies abroad I haven't got any chance to meet any people who has dogs or pets, just then one friend discovered the animal shelter near our faculty. It is just across our faculty and most of the afternoons after classes I go and visit there to walk dogs. Somehow that was able to cover up my longingness for my pets way back home. And now I am taking advantage of this passion to also earn some extra bucks. :)
