Hi! I'm Josslyn :) I'm 30 and I moved to Belgium from South Africa in 2018. I live with my husband and 2 rescue kitties, Mavis and Lily (sadly my other kitty, Ritsie, passed away recently). I work part time as a dental assistant, and am also a part time jewellery designer. I'm fluent in Afrikaans and English and moderately fluent in Dutch (feel free to contact me in Dutch if that's the easiest for you!).

I love all animals, especially cats, rabbits and rats and would love to help out fellow pet lovers by feeding and caring for your animals. I used to have 3 wonderful rats and a gorgeous rabbit, who are sadly no longer with us, so I am able to feed, play with and groom these kinds of animals too if needed! I also have experience with pet snakes, leopard geckos and chameleons. I will make sure that your pets are happy and well looked after in your absence, and will make sure to send you photos so you can see that they are doing well!

I have experience giving various kinds of oral medications as well as injected medication. 

I live close to Mariakerke Post but have a car and an electric step so can easily travel to most places in Gent. For my job I work with a variable schedule of early and late shift Monday - Thursday, so keep in mind that if you book me during the week that I may not be able to go visit your pet at the same time each day. 

My visits last 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the animal's needs (usually 30-40 minutes). I've used the app before to book sitters to look after my furry children, so I know how stressful it can be to have to look for someone to care for them. I am always willing to meet up beforehand so you can determine whether I would be the right person to look after your pets! I look forward to meeting your furry (or scaly) family members! :)
