Hello! My name is Renata and I come from Brazil. I work in Brussels for an NGO, but I really miss my pets at home!
My parents are both veterinarians - so I grew up in a house full of animals, both ours and other peoples'!
At home, we have now two german shepherds and a golden retriever (Stella, Natasha, and Miss Moneypenny). This means I am used to big, strong (and stubborn!) dogs! I really miss them, so I started taking care of animals here in Brussels.
I started by watching over a lovely cat called Emma, who was rescued by a friend. As my friend travels often for work, I feed, clean, brush, and play with the cat whenever necessary. Sometimes I also housesit so Emma has company - she enjoys frequent belly rubs.
I am used to both puppies and kitties (and all their energy) and older dogs and cats (and their required special care).
Home visits: either if you are traveling or just busy, I can do home visits to feed, play, and clean after your pet. I am happy to do it for your cat, dog, and also other friendly pets!
Dog walks: I am also happy to walk your dog in the park, run and play ball with him/her - as the owner feels comfortable. I will always carry bags to pick up after their "surprises". I can walk up to two large or three small dogs, provided they are used to being walked together. I will never walk dogs of two clients at the same time. I can pick up the dog at home at the agreed time, and return him/her after 30min or hour walk.
I am at walking distance to Parc Leopold, Cinquantenaire, and Ambiorix, so we have many options!
House sitting: if you are out of town, I can house and pet sit for you. I will be sure your pet has a company and food in the evening, and that they play enough to use up all their energy!
I live alone in a studio in Etterbeek. I can host your pet for a few days if you are away. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so your pet can have company and go for walks with me during the day :)
Contact me to look after your furry baby! I speak English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese and I am learning French.
Renata was wonderful with my cat! I've never came home after a holiday seeing him that relaxed. She was punctual, gave plenty of updates and was very correct. I would definitely recommend her!
As I worked in my parents' clinic, I learned how to administrate medicine to ill animals. If your pet needs oral medication or a change of bandages, I can do it. (Any other type of medication I do not administrate, due to a need of more specific care).
