About me:

Hello! My name is Mónica, I am Portuguese, and I am 25 years old. I have been living in Brussels for 1 year and a half, and I work as a Junior Consultant.

I love to be a pet sitter because I really miss my dog Sushi, and I love hanging out with animals. Sushi is with my family in Portugal, and I live alone in Brussels, and sadly my landlord doesn't allow pets. Therefore, I can't have a pet in my apartment, and I cannot bring animals to my house, but I can come to your house and take care of yours! 

My experience:

I have had dogs for more than 10 years, I have had turtles and a rabbit and I take care of my friends' cat when they are not home. My first dog had many health issues so I got used to constantly taking care of him: giving him medication, cleaning his ears with a medicinal product, putting drops in his eyes, and cleaning up after him. I also volunteered in a dog shelter in Lisbon, so I handled all kinds of dogs: I fed them, walk them and played with them, while also cleaning their beds. I rescued both my dogs from that shelter.

About my services:

- I don't have any restrictions. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs and turtles, but I can take care of other pets too.

- I will go to your house, as long as it is maximum 1 hour away. I don't have a car, so I use public transport. I can administer medication to pets; I can give them a bath; I can water plants and bring in the mail as well. I have my own apartment, so I am used to living on my own; I am responsible, clean and independent.

- Regarding home visits, I can stay for the weekend, from Friday evening until Sunday evening. If it is during the week, I can stay from 6pm to 8am the next day. I am usually available during evenings; on weekends, I am available the entire day.

- I can walk your dog as many times as necessary; I usually walk my dog for 20 minutes, but I can walk your dog for up to 1 hour if that is what you prefer.
