Hi friends !! 🐶
We are Jeroen and Alexandra, a Belgian-Spanish young couple living in Erpe-Mere with our sweet Chow Chow Romy 🐶. Our home is very spacious with a large and fully fenced garden 🏡.
Our lovely Romy is 8 years old, and she's a true teddy bear 🐻. She loves the simple things: to be with us wherever we are, to go for long walks (regardless the weather!! ☀️⛈️🌤️), and more than anything, she loves her naps (maybe more than food...?!?! hmm nop, just kidding!!! 🤣).
Romy is quite chill and laid back. She "owns" the downstairs area of our home where she has straight access to the garden as she generally prefers to be outdoors than indoors! 🌍
We decided to start dogsitting via Pawshake because we absolutely LOVE dogs, but also to give Romy the opportunity to directly interact with other furry friends in a safe environment, and so far we've only had GREAT experiences 🥰.
We always arrange a meet up before accepting any bookings, as we want to ensure that Romy and your pet are a good match! We also want to get to know you and hear everything about your dog and about your expectations during their stay with us 🤝.
We understand that each pet has its own personality, needs, background, etc, and their wellbeing, happiness and security are our top priorities. We've had pets our whole lives and we love animals very very much, we are caring and responsible people and your best friend will be in heaven with us 😇.
We provide regular updates via message and include photos or videos 📸 at your request, so you can be at ease knowing your best friend is well cared for! 🙌🏻
Our house is located in a calm and green neighbourhood so we can go for nice walks close-by.
If your dog is staying with us for longer and enjoys car rides, we can drive a bit further and take the dogs for longer walks, which they always enjoy!
We are very flexible with your drop off/pick up times. If needed, we can discuss for us to pick up and/or drop off your pet, fee to be agreed depending on distance/timing 🚗.

Door onverwachte omstandigheden kon mijn lieve Bowie dit keer niet terecht bij familie of kennissen tijdens mijn vakantie. Plots geen zin meer om nog weg te gaan. We vonden een oplossing bij Alexandra en Jeroen en dus toch nog met een klein hartje vertrokken. Toen Alexandra me na twee dagen liet weten dat haar Romy mijn overenthousiaste Bowie op professionele wijze voor eens en altijd duidelijk had gemaakt dat ze baas is in eigen huis, was het enkel nog genieten van de leuke foto's, geruststellende berichten en mijn vakantie. Een échte aanrader, dit leuke koppel en dito hond.
Alexandra en Jeroen zijn supervriendelijk! Onze jonge, speelse hond is niet van de makkelijkste, maar reeds bij het ontmoetingsmoment stelden ze ons gerust en ook hun uiterst lieve hond ging meteen goed om met de onze. Alles verliep vlot, Wotan heeft bij hen een fijne tijd beleefd en kon dankzij hen mooi in zijn gewoontes blijven. We vonden het ook zeer fijn dat Alexandra ons updates en foto's stuurde tijdens het verblijf. Enkel lovende woorden voor deze oppas!
