About Ilse
Hi there! My name is Ilse, 26 years old and born in Bruges, Belgium. Together with my partner Ryan, we travel around the U.S. and Canada and do what we love most: spend time outdoors. we are avid hikers, campers and love everything nature. We are a peaceful and gentle couple who love to read, swim in lakes and take photos. We have our own small media business that allows us to work from anywhere.
We both have had cats and dogs as pets, and still love animals. Ryan worked for several years in a pet shop, so he has plenty of experience with pets and their daily care. While we travel, we unfortunately cannot be animal owners ourselves at the time. But we believe that Pawshake is the perfect solution. Spending time in different places, getting to know the area, having the opportunity to take care of animals while the owners can travel while we can take a break of traveling - perfect match!
Not only do we have plenty of personal experience with pets, we also have petsitted for a year now with Trusted Housesitters. So we have 1 year of professional experience taking care of animals, plants and houses/apartments. We have petsitted several dogs and cats so far, but are open to all animals.
