Hello, my name is Tamara, I'm 30 years old, and I live with my husband Jaffer and with Charlie, a German Spitz that is 2 years old. Charlie is really lively, really lovely, docile and friendly, so friendly that he barks to play, so don't worry about it, Charlie has never bitten a dog or a human. As you can see in our pics, Charlie is socialized dog and has been with several breeds, sizes, ages and behaviors. Besides dogs, Charlie is very friendly with birds.
Once I've been studying, I'm home 24/7, save the moments that I need to go to the supermarket and these moments don't take more than 1 hour. Just like with Charlie, when we have another dog with us and we need to go out, we always try to take them with us, whether it is to a park, beach, field, or even for a car ride just to go out home a little bit.
I love animals and Charlie does really love friends to play, specially dogs, and for this, we would be glad to have your dog here with us, to spend the day or even sleep with us.
We live in an apartment, but we have two nice balconies fully fenced that give Charlie and friends the total freedom to run a little bit and breathe the fresh air. In front of our home, we have a big lawn always waiting for us and if we want something bigger, we can find in a 7 minute walk a really nice park and a very good area for letting the dogs run loose, but also, we sometimes take our car to explore other dog parks or even walk in the woods.
I've always taken care of dogs, at every age and every breed, I have no problem with it. If it's necessary, I have large experience giving some medicine or even injecting insulin… I just need your dog to be friendly with this. In a long stay, showering your dog wouldn't be a problem, we love bath moments if it is good for he/she too.
As we've lived in a residential area and in an apartment, we can't accept dogs with bad behavior and barking excessively, we need to insure the respect for who live next to us. We accept small and medium-sized dogs due to our apartment size, and in this way, we can assure that your dog will be comfortable. It would be great if your dog knows how to do their needs on the grass or on the training pads.
Our daily routine is full of playtime and 2 walks a day (normally 30 minutes each one) for sure, if the weather is good, because we don't want that your furry dog gets wet in the rain. But don't worry, if the weather isn't ok, we have a lot of toys to spend all their energy.
If you need home visits and dog walking I can offer you this in the postcodes 2000 and 2018. For home visits, I'll spend around 30 minutes, and during this time, I'll feed your dog, give fresh water, clean his/her space and give medications/insulin if it is needed. After the feeding time we'll go out for a walk and play and if the weather isn't good, we'll have our playtime inside home to spend all his/her energy. For dog walking, your dog and I will have a 30 minutes wonderful walk.
I don't speak Dutch, but I'm sure that with English/Portuguese our communication will be great and won't prevent that you receive pics and videos about your dog and how things are.
Be sure that with us, your dog will be loved as one of us. For me, the most important thing, will be that your dog feels good, at ease and happy with our family!

Amanda is a very enthouastic petsitter and she took great care of Stefke. During the daycare she send me photo’s and messages so that I felt reassured that Stefke felt at ease with her. A fine experience!
Luna had a great time with Tamara, everyone is happy.
