I am Manuela, I come from Ecuador and petsitting is my side gig while I establish as freelance filmmaker in Brussels. For me it's a side gig done with joy and gratitude as I don't have pets here in Belgium and I miss playing, taking care of and giving love to my doggie siblings, Eva and Uma, who are living their best lives back home with my family 🐕💛

I have experience taking care of puppies, adults and old dogs. I can administer oral and topical medicine as well as practice basic training. I offer house visits service for short periods (either morning, afternoon or night, for 30 minutes up to 3 hours) and home-sitting for 24 hours. I can also do whole weekends or in between the week depending on my availability. I prefer house sitting to hosting because my apartment is small.

I have previous experience pet sitting for friends and family and throughout different moments in my life, I have volunteered at animal shelters and foundations. I also have experience with rescued/reactive dogs.

In addition, I offer pet walking services: group walks (2-4 dogs) so your buddy can socialize, or if you don't think it's a fit, to walk your dog/cat/etc. alone. Walks can last from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the pet's necessities. We can go to parks to play and exercise or follow the walking route you have established already. Either way, we'll have a great time!

I'm a very organized and thorough person, so don't hesitate to let me know any special or specific needs you, your pet or house might need from me. I have less experience with other animals like cats, bunnies and hamsters, but I love them all and I'm happy to learn! I can speak Spanish and English perfectly, I have an intermediate knowledge of French and I'm picking a word or two of Dutch. I'd be glad to practice either language with you and your pet.
